Amber were appointed as the Design & Build contractor for the refurbishment of The Clermont Club. The Amber team coordinated the applications for the Grade 1 Listed Building Consent and planning approvals with Westminster Council and Historic England, emphasising that the site is the only surviving townhouse designed by William Kent. The Amber design phase included all Interior, Architectural (including restoration), Structural, MEP and lighting design.

The restoration and building fabric changes were undertaken, respecting the age and period of the building. The Amber team worked closely with Historic England and Westminster Council, representing the client during the refurbishment works. The design captured and emphasised the architectural features of William Kent whilst taking the building into a modern operation Private Members Club.
